The spice and acidity seem to have mellowed with age. Medium yellow in color. Lemon minerality on the palate, surprisingly nonviscous. Balance is still quite good, complex. Fairly low perceptible sweetness (I’d guess an R.S. of around 20-30, but have no idea the actual numbers.) Paired just perfectly with a homemade (not spicy) Thai lemongrass curry.

Weekday Night with a couple of bottles (NYC): spicy apples on the nose announce the vinyard. honey and a touch of petrol here as well with almost an "Earl Grey" tea note. good acidity topped with yellow apples and a touch of red berries, pine needles come in on the nose with some time. finish is tart and spicy but a bit short. very pleasant wine ...

Light lemon color. Attractive, complex nose with elements of earl grey tea, dry spices, pine needle, apple, honey and a touch of petrol. On the palate it is full on the attack with a strong acid spine that marries very well with the sweetness; flavors of golden delicious apple and strawberry. The flavor dies a bit on the finish however. Subtle residual apple flavor remains.
