Rich and aromatic on the nose, with apricot throughout, tending towards dried apricot as the bottle progressed, along with a heavy dose of roasted hazelnuts. The palate is quite interesting, with a decent amount of acidity and mineral, more apricot, and quite unique Haribo gummy bear aromas (green gummy bears when still chilled, more white gummy bears as the glass warmed). My only complaint was that the acidity didn't seem especially well-integrated, with an odd sort of separation between the fuller, rounder body of the wine and the somewhat limp acidity. This was my first experience with Friulano, but I know I'll be back for more at some point.
