A light and air style that just danced around a heavier, more concentrated '14 Raveneau Chablis AC. Paul Pillot and Vincent Dancer made great wines for the vintage. This said, the finish was a bit short.

There was fizzy carbonation on the opening and I thought the wine could be faulty. After a long decant, the bubbles were still there so I double-decanted this 4-5 times before I left it in the decanter overnight. When the bubbles were gone, this actually tasted ok. It is what it is, and if you like the house style you will enjoy this as long as you give it enough aeration. If you stocked this for a restaurant you will be screwed. Not scoring this due to the bubbles...

Is this a sparkling wine? Way too much CO2. Pretty fruit on nose and palate, but lack of complexity. Finish is almost non-existent. Paid 80 bucks and I felt that's overpriced.

So much similar to my experience with the 2017... this was way too reductive with some even small bubbles in the cup. Nothing like what I would look for in a white burgundy. The pendulum has swung way too far here.
