I liked this a lot on PnP, very elegant. It didn’t last more than a few days before developing some oxidation though. Either way, good structure, welcome level of tannin, since Grenache can often be a bit too soft for me.

75 % Garnacha 25 % Cariñena; Hand harvested, whole cluster naturally fermented, and transfered to a cement tank for eight months. No steel and no oak. From 9 historic villages of Priorat: Bellmunt, Gratallops, El Lloar, Escaladei, Poboleda, Porrera, Torroja, Vilella Alta, Vilella Baixa, where they encourage young farmers to come back to their family vineyard and farm organically. 35 - 50 years old vines on slate, clay, granite, and alluvial soils.
Overall, there’s a savory, smoky, soy sauce minerality here on the nose and palate with lots of fresh red fruits and some spice on the palate. Well-balanced, and not a typical Priorat, which can be darker, oaked and even higher in alcohol. Should please both wine geeks and beginners since it has enough ripe fruit going on, but without all the make-up for wine geeks. 14,000 bottles made.

Paired with a Italian meat sauce and broccoli.
Loved this wine. Pepper and tart raspberry on the nose and taste. Bold, medium tannins, dry.
