  Just a consistently fantastic bottle of wine. Hits all the things I look for in a Pinot Noir. Light on its feet, fruit that is ripe but not too ripe, and lifted acidity.

  Great bottle. Cherry, cola, oak, and a mushroomy earthiness (maybe rose petal?). Beautiful color. Nice balance and long finish. Not much to complain about with this one.

  No contemporaneous notes Second bottle of 3. Decanted and consumed about 15 minutes later and over about 1 1/2 hours. This was excellent, and like the 18 Hansel Chardonnay Cuvee Alyce served alongside it (again), much better than my last bottle consumed earlier this summer. So balanced and elegant. Wonderful purity of fruit. My friend compared this to a Volnay.
