I'm not leaving a real note here because I served this alongside the 08 Mineral and the Mineral was a very poor showing, and this may not have been great either. It showed a litheness and energy that had me thinking it was the Mineral (I was semi-blind) and that the flat heavy wine was the Avizoise - I figured the wine grown on clay would be heavier). I would like to try this again, as it just wasn;t a good night for Agrapart on this day.

Gareth's blind 2008 Grand Marques (Chez Bruce): Tasted blind. Neat and tidy mousse. Tight on the nose and on the palate, which could be described as fresh and elegant or angular and sharp depending on one's preference. Suspected as having been served too cold, but it didn't progress with time and warmth - just seems to be a very 'clean' wine.

Buttery and yeasty note - should be drunk after some aeration. A bit coiled up as i had it

Stellar. Super energy, purity and balance. Probably still a few years away from peak.
