Julebord: Erketypisk, men særdeles strukturert - høy syre og garvesyre - ubalansert mot moderat frukt nå. Særs lovende, men denne er det bare å glemmer i 10 år og håpe på at den ikke har oksidert i mellomtiden.

Dark ink. Floral nose, violets. Tar, olives. Young and tight, but great potential. Burnt soil notes, dark fruit, tar and olives on the palate. Elegant, stylish. Wait another 5 years, at least, for this one. Le Beaugravière with Johnny et al.
A ripe but calm and even nose of blood plum, menthol, dried flowers and earth. It has rich berry fruits in the mouth, and is a powerful wine, yet light on its feet. It finishes with so much savoury nuance and expansion. Great Syrah.

Obviously too young but wanted to try one for scientific purposes. Very primary but complexity did eventually come out with an overnight. Bright black fruit, violets, black pepper, smoke and mineral. Texturally soft with moderate acidity. The fruit is very pure with no excess but nothing to get excited about at this age. Give it 10 years.
