BYOB Bordeaux/Burgundy flights (Local wine club): Opulent fruity style, very clean and inviting. There seems to be a certain amount of resid sugar but this has structure, mostly from acidity. Light, elegant fruit, slight oak, with a long balanced finish. 91-92p

sweet rose and violet flowers with ripe red and blue fruit bursting on the nose - very Chambolle. Has a nice round and velvety mouth you get from Le Moine, really can taste the unfiltered leesy mouthfeel. Palate gets a bit hollow and airy with palate staining tannins that last. Like it now with like it more in 5-10.

Drinking ths 2005 CM 1er cru rather young, decanted for 30 minutes. Tastes already very good, is not shut down. Expressive chambolle nose, red and black fruit, spicy. Full bodied taste, concentrated, mineral and spices. A hint of too much alcohol, beautifull soft tannins. Long finish. Although this wine is already very good at the moment, I expect it to improve further the next years.

Viss fällning i glaset
Målarlåda, tjära, rosor, lite alkoholstickigt (varmt år?), slamiak, träig
Torrt, strävt, väldigt trevlig längd, bra komplexitet, tydliga tanniner
