Drank with the Pollacks. Slightly tart red cherries, lots of spice, medium to big-bodied for a pinot. Decent length and good concentration. Oak still showing & prominent, demonstrating this producer's modern style. A pleasant enough pour that is showing well currently, but nothing special here. Decant next time.

Right up my alley. Purity. Earthiness but still soft fruit. So good.

Chambolle-Musigny for Dummies: Ripe cherries, freshness, minerality, spices. Wine is at its peak. Tannins are smooth, acidity is there.
Lucien le Moine is a small négociant that rarely disappoints. He buys fermented wines and is doing élevage. Uses 100% new French oak.

Soft and earthy, this was outstanding with Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, oyster dressing, asparagus, and mashed potatoes.

Closed. Nose sweet, red fruit in background. Taste also red fruit, mineral, tannic, but already with deep softness. Full bodied. Good potential.
