Enticing nose with notes of strawberries, cranberries, herbs (rosemary, sage), and sandalwood. Soft, silky and fresh palate. This is a transparent wine—nothing is hidden. Very well made.

Surprisingly thin, even mean, considering it's a South African Rhone blend. Acidity very spiky; does the 13% ABV suggest slightly prematurely picked fruit? More like a Beaujolais than a Rhone. Somewhat better on day 2, with a more attractive floral finish.

Cranberry, blood orange, fennel and rose petals. Light, thin and tart, this tastes more like a Pinot Noir. Supposedly a Rhone blend, Cannonau de Sardinia is the only Grenache I've had that was this tart. Would pair great with a salad.
