Oh well......meant to pull a '19 but got the last '18 in the cellar, instead.
2 hour double decant followed by a 3-4 hour slow ox in the bottle. Left the last half of the bottle for HMC to put under Repour stopper, to try tomorrow or the next night.
This is so dark and brooding. Tannic....rich, but dry fruit with astringency. Feels very 'hot'. In a word, kind of 'disjointed', even more so than the '18 Lerner Project 18 from tonight.
Needs maybe 5 more years in the cellar? This one has a long way to go to calm down.......
addendum: HMC who shared this bottle at dinner with us, had the rest of the bottle after it was under a Repour stopper for a couple of nights and said it was maybe one point better, being a little softer in nature.

Three and a half hour decant. Very deep dark intense ruby magenta color. Blackberry, cassis, orange-infused baker’s chocolate, granite, and subtle pound cake. Smooth, dry palate, with dusty acidity. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.
This was my first time to have more than just a taste of a DS Cab. It’s a bit lean/austere, despite what my descriptors may imply. One could also call it brooding and muscular. I enjoyed it and look forward to see how additional cellar time treats it.

Late night pnp, after dinner and heading back to the house to watch the Eagles finish off the Vikings. Admittedly, this did not get the prep it needed.
Black fruited but not tarry or bitter, but just a tad tannic. Great fruit, soft and balanced with nice acidity. Just needed an hour or two to hit its stride. 91 to start. 93 after we finished the bottle......Eagles 2-0.
Decanted and drank. Lots of dark fruit and some petroleum (mechanic shop?). Great finish. Still pretty tannic and enough acid to keep thing tight. Has years to go. A lot of sediment.

Some upfront fruit but not that much for a younger bottle. Also tannins are more mild. My guess is 2 more years of aging and drink.
