  • Stunning nose, very Burgundian, intense, complex, arresting, follows through on the palate with citrus, a little oak ? , rounded & flavoury. Very moreish. An excellent NZ chardonnay

  • Generous and lovable NZ Chardonnay, from one of my new favourite producers. The opulence did verge on he unbalanced after a few glasses. Prefer the reds of the winery.

N: Opulent, ripe pear, high toast oak, but with a slight reductive freshness, waxed lemon, snapped rubber band.

P: Golden apple, mouthwatering, robust, subtle grip, cooked green apple. Tropical stone fruit on first opening (feels like Botrytis), but blew off. Savoury toasted brioche and subtle vanilla creme.

F: Golden pear, fresh lemon juice, toasted oak.

  • Medium straw colour, good viscosity (13' alc ) stunning nose, intense mineral buttery bouquet, reminiscent of a fine burgundy, full on the palate with the mineral flavours dominant , so well balanced with great poise. Long lingering finish. This is a very fine NZ Chardonnay..
