  • A French Bistot dinner in … London (Bouchon Racine , London): Decanting here helps and wish we had a bit more time to do so.
    Bright and full of energy, still a decent amount of oaky puppy fat that the wine needs yet more time to assimilate, soft stone fruits and a floral feel. Bright wine , full of energy on the palate albeit still a bit wound down and one gets more of the oaky feel than the fruit at this stage. Give this 3-5 more years and will evolve into something even better. 92 at this stage from us.

  • Strågul farge. Intens aroma med preg av lemoncurd, noe floralt, eik, smør og kontaktlim. I munn er den ok fyldig, men ha relativt kort avslutning. Ting ikke er helt i balanse slik det vanligvis er fra JM Boillot. Er usikker på om denne vil bli særlig bedre ved lagring. Litt skuffende vin for meg dette, en produsent jeg til stadighet vender tilbake til, men her skuffer de.. 89p

  • Glass by coravin at Felix restaurant, Sydney. Appearance: light straw. Nose: nicely austere as I'd expect from a PM - citrus, white flowers, some minerality, whiff of oak. Great complexity.

    Palate: balanced and fresh with crisp acidity. Not overpowering but suitable concentration and a pleasing mouth weight. Lovely refined style. Needs a few years.
