  Dark brown/amber in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of overripe fruit aromas of peaches, dried apricots & orange rinds with overtones of burnt caramel, sherry notes, toffee, exotic spices, vanilla & a hint of oxidation in the background. Full bodied, well balanced & smooth textured, rich & sweet ripe fruit flavors of peaches & dried apricots with burnt caramel, spices & minerals. Long lingering sweet finish. Drinks quite well at present & at 50 years of age, it is amazing how well it has held up!
