Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • The 1983 Kalin Cellars Sémillon is drinking beautifully at age 40, offering up notes of orange pith, fig, buttered citrus, beeswax and subtle hints of vanilla pod, followed by a medium-bodied, deep and layered palate with a satiny attack, lively acids and a mouthwateringly mordant finish defined by typical varietal dry extract. Something of a Viña Gravonia and Laville Haut-Brion love child!
