Tasted over two nights (2nd night was better). I got a wallop of bell pepper and horseradish on the first night, but this mellowed on the second night and the plummy / cherry aromas came to the fore. There was saddle leather and damp earth aplenty. The palate is fresh and balanced with velvety tannins and moderate finish that pops with cinnamon and herbal accents.

Popped and poured. Aroma of spicy blackberry. Cherry flavor with a bit of leather on the front end, tart plum and some loam in the finish.
Firm backbone, primary, mutable and lively flavors, some complexity, great staying power. Excellent QPR.
Current CT drinking window ends in 2021, I think this has a lot longer than that. In fact, while it's really good now it may be better in a few years.

Not bad. “Bigger” Cabernet. BlackBerry and earth with some dustiness. Not bad, but maybe missing acidity. Seems a bit new world. Not a rebuy.
