Past it's prime with not much fruit on the nose and palate, some slight oxidation on the palate. Still enjoyable as an experience, but would have been better 7 years ago.

Sublime, fully mature wine with a wonderful slight browning around the edges. Although not gonna get any better, it sure is not going downhill, although I would not wait. This wine was stored in perfect conditions since purchase at the winery. Last one. Enjoyed at our favorite private club in town with steak & lobster.

Still had nice color. Herbaceous nose that didn't impact the flavor profile. Nice sweet fruit with resolved tannins. Some thought it was a bit past its prime (and could be) but others thought it was drinking very nicely now, including me.

Still drinking really well. After 18 years this wine is just starting to lose a just a little bit if color, showing a slight orange tint around the edges. The tannins are very finely integrated. Flavors of blackberries, currants. Very slightly sweet.

(Groth Cabernet Sauvignon) Group's #2 (my #4) – 32 pts; 2, 0, 1, 0 – sweet black fruit and cherry nose with dill and iron edges; iron, tart black fruit with firm, sweet tannins; tangy medium-plus finish
