Really enjoyed this wine once it opened up. Let it breath for about an hour and while we enjoyed it on its own it was with food (in our case pork tenderloin with roasted persimmon) that it really shined which I believe is due to it's acidity and surprised that it was only 13.5% alcohol as it tasted bigger to us.

Has improved massively since last bottle drank a year ago. Much more integrated. Good level of acidity adding freshness. Long finish. Very smooth. Delicious.

This is an outstanding Duero Reserva at a fair price. Drinking well now after opened it three hours before consumption. Silky, fruity, creamy and a long finish. Paired it with paella and enjoyed it after dinner, too.

This is from 80 year old Tempranillo vines, and sees 14 months in French oak (300L). Bright purple red. Very intense and pure on the nose. Youthful, too, even after being open a couple of days. Fully ripe purple fruits, almost a bubblegum character on the nose. Some oak notes but it doesn't dominate at all- merely adding a nice cedar-like complexity. Quite balanced on the palate, with fleshy red berries and quite grippy tannins. This has a long life ahead of it, really impressive.
