This is surprisingly cool-fruited and crisp for the vintage with good acidity and perfectly ripe cherry fruit. A bit of oak yet to resolve but it certainly benefitted from air and kept improving. Shows a touch of iron minerals on the finish which seems to be a signature of d'Eugenie wines but overall a very good effort and quite fine with good upside potential. 92+

Very ripe, with dark fruits and a hint of chocolate. It is luscious and full, with a creamy mid palate. There's floral spice buried under the flesh. Tannins are ripe and acidity feels low, but the wine is very much alive, energetic and very long. Needs plenty of time.
