  • Deep crimson in color, this wine reveals overt green bell pepper as well as muted aromas of mixed black and red fruits including blackberry. The mouth feel is medium bodied with very soft tannins and more bell pepper elements as well as subtle spice undertones. The finish shows bright acidity that frames the dark fruit and bell pepper. 14.00% abv.

Purchased for $13US, this was a pleasant drinking, good qpr that has no hard edges. The green bell pepper element, usually a wine killer for me, is in the background enough to make this moderately enjoyable to my palate. At this price point, it's very tolerable.
