Served with Putanesca. Clear violet color, with aromas of black fruits, tobacco and graphite. Flavor is moderate acidity and tannic body. Moderate CC wine.

Still quite ruby - little sign of aging. Cherries dominate the nose with some cinnamon spice and earth. Palate similar. Powdery tannins. Fresh acidity balances the fruit and the alcohol, which is well integrated (doesn’t feel like 14.5%). Medium+ finish. Drinking well now but has the structure to age for a few years. Very good quality.

Classic (if relatively full-bodied and dense) chianti. Noteably fresher and more vibrant than the '17 Filetta de Lamole which was already on the downslope and slightly tired.
Quite dark, red and black cherry fruit, leather, tobacco. Decent finish. Good, but not great. More to come.

Tasted 24 hours after it was opened and re-corked. Lush, full, and generous. Soft and open. Elegant.

Full bodied, black fruit and quite a bit of tannic grip. Finishes quite short. Not sure I'd identify this as Sangiovese blind.
Hope its the vintage, but not sad I didn't buy more of this.
