Received this blind. Guessed Dufour. Tastes a bit like a pet nat. Felt overpriced. Some bottle variation exists with these so take it with a grain of salt.

Birthday Bash: My 2nd bottles in two days. About 2.5g/l of dosage. A very neutral Champagne that boosted with complex salinity, fresh citrus fruits with some reserved (solera) wines from 2010 - 2016 for some mid palate richness and length. A nice starter.

2017 base, with reserve wines from 2010-2016, opened for 7 hours prior. Really needed the air, resolved, slight greeness translating into fresh notes, very toned mineral notes. Yum. 91-92

Dufter af lambic og cider. Æble, pære og de der små appelsinagtige ting, der er pakket ind i blade, eller lidt passionsfrugt. Den modne æble, citrusfrugt går igen i munden, ret høj syre. Dufour kører Selosse-light stilen, men det er mere frugtmodent og mindre oxy og med lidt mindre struktur. QPR
Åbner virkelig med luft, der kommer chardonnay og brioche, mere kompleksitet i stedet for bare most
