Beautiful transparent dark red cherry color. Smoky spinach and herb nose, with a bitter cherry and pork fat finish, with everthing in between. A nice simple Villages from Nuits that, while not hitting the top of the quality scale, is a very satisfying wine and will continue to drink well for a while. A great way to wash down crunchy pizza.

Similar to previous note. The hints of grass on the nose were a bit more like pine needles and Christmas trees. Not bad. A little more rustic this time on the palate.

Red color, translucent, good clarity. Red fruits and earth on the nose; my friend mentioned a whiff of grass, which makes sense. Tart cherry on the palate, which became richer and softer with time in the glass. The wine feels a bit tight to me and a longer finish would be nice. Some extra air or a bit longer in the cellar might do some good. Decent value though.

deep red in color with excellent clarity, rounded red fruit with hint of spice. Medium weight but could add some structure with more time in bottle.

Very nice Pinot inthe Burgandy style. Enjoyed it with a seafood risotto.
