  • Coravin, Event preparation,

Verbeina, fresh herbs, little William pear,

Palate is vibrant, fresh, saline, very tight still... warm middle ripe apple palate, finishing in a long building up riper ending

Needs air and time, will open it xill be certainly around 93/94 after aeration as the length is amazing but lacks zing

  • Quite deep straw color, but with highly present greenish tones. Deep and complex nose dominated by lime and a spicy feel (cardamom and clove) at first. When the wine warms up, tones of exotic fruit like peach and apricot emerge, again complemented by fine vanilla tones. Somewhat heavy for a Puligny. Full bodied attack, almost sweet feel up front. On the mid palate the wine expands into lime, citrus, peach and spice tones. The spicy tone expands further on the finish, and the aftertaste is full of exotic fruit, cardamom, vanilla, and an oaky dryness. Very fine acidity lifts the total impression, and the the overall impression is fresh and salivating. A salty tone at the end gives further complexity. A wonderful wine from a hot year, perfectly made, and a wine with a long future in front of it. Keep for five more years.

Uphill, close to Meursault: Pure aromas, juicy, long and chiseled finish, no heat. Very enjoyable under the radar Puligny. Very good for its level, favorite in the line up.

  • Deep straw, verging on golden. Decanted for an hour in alarge carafe. Wonderful nose dominated by peach, lime, some pinapple, and then: all nuts and the spices (cardamom, basil, pepper) and a mineral streak. Full bodied attack. Lots of sweet lemon/lime, peach, pineapple in the mouth. The finish is completed with some som every fine mineral tones in the type of flint and crushed stone. Long, sweet aftertaste where the oak becomes very evident: vanilla and something almost like cocoa. This is probably much too young. Keep for at least 2 years. Still: wonderful with grilled lobster.
