89+ A really nice Grenache-based blend. It was a little hot upon opening, but settled down over the next hour. This wine is definitely at, or perhaps slightly past, its prime, but it's still delicious. I'd recommend drinking within the next year.

This was very well made and tasty, however it was quite over the top alcohol-wise and grew tiresome with each passing glass, Grenache is such as high-ripener that can have excessive alcohol levels even from the Rhone, let alone California, not sure if this grape is at it's best in such hot conditions - Dark red, well concentrated with notes of cherry, plum, spice, toast and strong vanilla on the nose, well made, but bombastic to say the least, sweet on the finish with medium length (85 Points).

Black cherry, liquorice and blackberry. Lots of oak that is somewhat balanced out with the bright fruit on the mid palate and concentration on the wine. Rich extracted finish. Lacking the complexity on the finish when tasted in the past. Either going through and awkward period or on the downhill slide. 15.8% alcohol.

Cherry, licorice, full bodied, nice velvety feel, lots of oak, but lots of fruit.
