  Montsant, the baby brother of Priorat. Organic. 50% Garnacha 40% Cariñena and 10% Syrah. Soil is Licorella and clay. Punch down during fermentation. Aged 6 months in large vats and then transferred to barrels.
  Nose shows baked blueberry but very earthy and savory. Palate shows nice structure, med+ acidity, med+ but fine tannins despite age.

  Cardigan, grenache, and syrah. Now day 2. Lovely aroma of crushed blackberries and lifted red cherries, herbs, and damp earth. Palate w just ripe blackberries, pomegranate, cherries, some earth, nice minerals. Excellent acids and concentration on a medium body. Mild tannins. Nice juicy finish of herbs, green herbs, and tart red and black berries. Young but drinking nicely.

  Abrimos la botella el domingo pero estaba tan impracticable por cerrado y no tuvimos otra opción que dejarla abierta 24 horas. Hoy ha evolucionado muy correctamente. Presenta un color rubí oscuro y brillante que se aclara hacia los bordes. El aroma es esencialmente frutal, con muchas notas de mentol y fondo mineral. En boca es un vino que demuestra alta concentración y masividad, tiene una estructura poderosa y acidez correcta, con sabores de fruta roja y alta mineralidad, final largo que mantiene las características frutales y minerales.
  Es un vino que probé en añadas anteriores de las que creo recordar menos hiperconcentración y más elegancia. Éste en concreto tiene puntos de contacto con los vinos del Priorato, pero desde luego no es lo mismo
