  I had good memories of this wine but the 2018 version is really disappointing. Decanted: one hour prior to tasting. Color: medium intense garnet-red with a watery rim. Bouquet: shy nose offering some scents of sour cherry, cassis and a touch of sandalwood and menthol. On the palate: an unbalanced light- to medium-bodied wine with a sharp acid structure and rather smooth tannins ; it lacks elegance, depth and complexity. Finish: no aftertaste to speak of. Not recommendable at all ; the quality-price ratio is very average.
  
  Ik had goede herinneringen aan deze wijn, maar de jaargang 2018 is een totale afknapper. Gedecanteerd: één uur voor consumptie. Kleur: medium intens granaatrood met een waterig randje. Bouquet: bescheiden neus met wat aroma’s van zure kers, cassis en nuances van sandelhout en menthol. In de mond: een onevenwichtige, eerder lichte wijn met een agressieve aciditeitsstructuur en vrij zachte tannines ; de wijn mist elegantie, diepgang en complexiteit. Finale: zo goed als geen afdronk. Absoluut geen aanrader ; de prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is ondermaats.
