Medium-light greenish straw color. Nose/palate are mostly characterized by lemon/orange liquor (or overdue grapefruit), underripe pineapple, peppermint, and intense firework smokiness. Bone-dry, high acidity, with citrus-peel bitterness in the middle and some burning alcohol highlighted at the finish due to dry saltiness. Worked well with grilled scallops. Agree with folks that it shouldn’t be served too cold. Needs right food paring to shine.

Bought from the bin-end closeouts at Gordon's. Normally I don't like whites that have a bit of a sour edge (Verdejo comes to mind), but I guess the richness of the Roussane in this blend counterbalances to pull the package together. The clear bottle also makes a classy presentation.

No formal notes. Peach and minerals. More full bodied, nice acidity. Went well with seafood appetizers.

Round, freshwater smells on the nose, with some salinity. Focused and delineated, pretty darn tasty as it were. Salty mineral finish.

Very dry and crisp. Certainly the priciest ugni blanc I’ve had. Went well with dinner (trout, succotash and corn cakes) but no fireworks.
