Guava, green melon, peach, and loads and loads of sea spray/shells. Good, dry extract adds some pleasantness to the mouthfeel. Good acidity, with avg complexity and length. Takes me back to the village (and vineyard) each and every time. recommended

Textural, smooth and nice round fruit. Stands up to rich, fragrant food. Very good.

Yellow colour, slightly oily texture. Lovely complex aroma of gooseberry jam, plum brandy and paraffin. Sour greengage, lemon meringue pie, slightly creamy, gooseberry flavour again. Really fresh and refined, despite the Marsanne richness. Expect a long life. Superb.

A private lunch with a friend (Restaurant Café Amsterdam, Amsterdam, NL): Plump orchard fruit and ripe citrus fruit, juicy and supple, soft but fresh, gentle minerality, light finish but good length. Easy to understand, but not as elegant or exciting as the 2017.
