Sommelier Journal

  • By Catherine Fallis, MS, ACWP
September 2009, (See more on Sommelier Journal...)

(Domaine du Bagnol Cassis Blanc) Bright straw-yellow, with unique aromas of pine needle, dried brush, sage, lemon zest, acacia, and honey. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, clean, and delicate, with dried herbs and lemon zest and a long pine-needle-sea-mist finish. The acids are bright and persistent, but gentle. Provence: Heaven for the Senses
