Nicely relaxing from first bottle about 3 years ago, and firmly in it's drinking window. Still - mostly sour - red fruits, darker cherries, a sort of beetroot edge and if pushed vague tomato paste. Very balanced.
(And still well worth seeing how they'll age).

Continues to evolve. Definitely more tertiary notes now....sweet red fruit still with tannin behind it, but also hints of herbs (mint and thyme), candied/caramelised fruit, pomegranate. Better on its own than it was with a risotto primavera (the white wine shone more there), but good with some cheese later.

Pomegranate, black olive tapenade, tomato puree, still grippy - but pumice-like (if you'll forgive the clumsy metaphor) tannins - with a lovely mid-weight, fairly high-toned elegance.
Good for at least another half decade. (Really have no idea as to what Xinomavro will deliver after serious ageing TBH, so possibly longer?).

Very pale ruby in the glass A: Red fruits, cherry, even tomato, balsamic richness P: Dry, Med acid Med Tannin, quite a dryness to it fruit and savoury following on form the aroma, med + finish.Drinking well now, but could still age. I have one more left

A second note to reflect how it’s improved even further. The fruit now has a richness balanced by the herbal notes and velvety tannins. Fantastic wine for the price.
