Last of the 3 pack I bought some time back; last bottle best bottle, has peaked out and good to go. This has a bouquet to die for; the kind that is reminiscent of other Burgs with much more aristocratic origins. Wilted rose petals, ripe strawberries, hawthorn flakes and damp fresh forest floor. The palate was more classic of the cuvee, chirpy red fruit, good acid (but not shrill as I find in some of her other vintages), there are developments of mushrooms and tea leaves. Lots of harmony here.

There is certainly a raw purity these wines. Almost Gamay-like, but I realize that is sacrilege to all the Burgundians that hate Gamay. A nose that shows some herbal, almost stemmy elements. Bright, juicy, crunchy cranberry and strawberry fruit. Not especially complex, but a lot of wiry/natural/raw juicy pinot fruit. Drink now if you haven't already.

Exciting wine! With beautiful roundness, delicious cherries, blackberries intense, parfumed and fresh.

Red alert! Seems to enter a fast ageing phase, it’s still fruity but pruny and not as enjoyable as last year. Drink fast.
