  Cask sample
  Pure fruit notes on the nose, brambles with grape skins.
  Light tannins, very pure fruit, more brambles, lovely floral lavendar nose, then leather, woody herbs,
  Finish strong tastes of walnuts.
  Nice fruit on this, I think it'll be good in ten years or so.

Lifted herbs/garrigue; full expansive, reasonably sweet impression. Rich, actually quite accessible. Tannins very well covered, alcohol slightly mars the finish. Could be the temperature of the sample though. Not nearly as expressive as the Dow Quinta Senhora da Ribeira.
