Weighty, rich and opulent fruit, a bit of oak, and sharp acuity and cut. True to the vintage, there’s more fruit and slightly less acidity than 19’s I’ve tasted from BB, but there’s plenty of energy here and a lot to love!

Reductive and just unyielding at this poin despite time and decantingt. Hope this yields with more cellaring in the coming years. Try again 2025 and beyond.

Incredibly fresh and lovely fruit - minerality and citrus (similar in a way to G-C Chablis) - but loads of oak - overpowering at this stage. Give it 5+ years in the cellar.

Super pure and light on its feet, this has a natural mountain rainwater quality but framed by some typical Meursault notes. Not a blockbuster but very drinkable and satisfying. I feared that this would be low-acid or ripe in '18, but that wasn't an issue. The production is tiny and I wouldn't be surprised if Bonin became the next culty White Burg producer.
