Grand Cru Chardonnay (The four seasons hotel, the rocks, sydney): Medium minus intensity aromas prove a little savoury, meaty, touches of clay with a smidge of ripe stone fruit that grows with time, backed by butter and a touch of caramel. With time in the glass it begins to fade a little. Soft acidity, muted fruit, it's quite flat on the palate for me and finishes a touch bitter and short. Nah.
