Golden in the glass with an austere citrus and faint brioche on the nose. Medium firm body of pear fruit and slight nuttiness with blunted acidity. Lengthy dry finish that meshes beautifully with the varied flavors of the charcuterie board it was served with.

A more austere slightly reductive style than I was expecting from Pinot Meunier. I personally enjoy just a little more fruit and more ripeness with Pinot Meunier and with zero dosage. Mousse is a little aggressive. Noticeable phenolic grip on the finish.

Bit brutish and blocky, but see the potential. Would let rest for a couple years and revisit. Also will seek out other offerings to explore producer more.

Medium plus acid that really highlights the fruit.
Incredible purity here. A master of Meunier showcases its delicious, fruit driven side. While not the most complex, the fruit purity is really incredible. Continues to be a fantastic value BdN.

Dinners at Tiny Pine Bistro; 10/21/2023-10/22/2023 (Carbondale, CO): Disgorged July 13, 2021, vendanges 2016/2017. Relatively lean, but clean and not funky like meunier can get. Minerally, bright, and high acid. Not too complex, but very drinkable and enjoyable, especially for a grower, brut nature champagne.
