  • Even better than before. Nose of leather, earth, tobacco and an element of fresh bing cherry. Palate is dark and bright at same time -- very dark fruit with tobacco elements but still a bright almost citrusy element that is an undertone. Clean, clear fruit quality is dominant. There are also some very integrated tannins that develop later on. Very satisfying, complex Zin.

  • Big dark fruit on the nose with leather and earth. Earthy palate with spice notes and definite acidity -- lovely clean taste. Significant tannins at the end and as it open up.

  • Deep fruit on the nose with leather and earth. Mushroom and earthy palate with good acidity -- lovely clean taste. Big tannins after an hour.

  • One of the best Zins I've tasted, tho I'm no expert. Rich, fruity nose with some leather and earth. The palate is chewy, deeply fruity, with mushrooms, nicely acidic, clean through and through, no adulterations -- seems like really true fruit. Modest tannins at end, and it has a pretty long finish.
