  Darker red color and medium plus body. Nose is cherry and some funk and some tobacco but not the perfume and complexity I usually love from burgundy. In the mouth this is dark red fruits Asian spices and some tobacco. Good acidity and slightly more elevated tannins than I expected. Good and a bit blockish and simple. I think it’s past it’s peak and liked but def didn’t love this.

  Beautiful spicy nose with dark red fruit - hints of incense and spice. Really nicely balanced with the fruit acid and tannins. Long finish. A delicious wine. This has really come together over the years.

  Pnp, medium garnet same as the 2000 Dujac. Nose is also very similar with blue fruits and nice touch of oak spice that really compliment the wine. Finely balanced on palate with sweet fruits and spice, slightly more spice but woyld expect to soften given more time in glass. A fine example from Girardin which normally is not my cup of tea.

  Brett. Boiling with classic aged pn aromas in background. Opened up over time. Tart through mid followed by length giving tannin.
