PnP. Had with lasagna and garlic bread. Juicy, tart cherry, red fruit, acid tingling on the tongue, med+ finish. Easy drinking, fresh and crisp. Great food wine. Would buy more if found on sale.

PnP. Had with baked ziti. No nose. Taste of Stong tart cherry amd red fruit. Light body (but still 14% alc) cuts through tomato sauce. Clean crisp short finish. Better with food than after dinner. Could see this as good with pizza or herb/ rotisserie chicken. Preferred other Barbara's to this at same price point

Way more acidity than I’m used to or prefer with barbera. I’m a fan of the producer’s barolo bottlings but this wasn’t a favorite. Perfectly fine with red sauce pasta…and it was very discounted…but I prefer other barberas.

Popped and poured. Rich, complex aroma with elements of black fruit, dried leaves, and red hots. Sappy flavors of huckleberry and fresh oregano up front, burst of acid laced cherry fruit in the finish. Smooth by Barbera standards, but with firm acids underneath. Lovely and distinctive wine.
