  • I'm very well aware of my previous tasting note on this. And that time it really it was an amazing showing. Today's showing is relatively disappointing.. Poor qpr. If This Were a very inexpensive wine that would be very happy. But for its price point today showing is very disappointing. It lacks all the greatness that I tasted previously on it. I may have to try a third bottle to see where we stand. And all fairness this could be an a dumb phase or there's other subtle things that coming to play like for example you get a bottle that was partially filled with the emptying of one barrel and there's a delay before the next Barrel got put on to fill it. That being said it has a nice golden color. The bouquet of melon apple butter and oak. Nice flavors of melon, butter, Oak, citrus with good acidity and a medium to long finish. If I get a chance I'll revisit this and taste this again. Normally I love this wine and I'm probably being a little too harsh but I'm still disappointed

  • The winery is one of the best in the area. In the glass the wine is pale golden yellow, the nose is interesting with aromas of white melon, honey, white pepper and vanilla. Very interesting.
But it is on the palate that is unconvincing: almondy notes but mostly vanilla and an undigested wood. Perhaps it needs a few more years of bottle aging.

  • 93-94+. Deep gold color. EXPLOSIVE bouquet of butter, vanilla, cream with hints of honey. On the palate impressively full bodied with a rich creamy mouthfeel. Dense and concentrated. Toast, butter, lemon custard, earth, mineral. Great concentration, complexity, and balance. Delicious. Very white burgundy in style. Drinks well now, but has the aciidty and structure to age. Drink now to 2029. Excellent QPR. One of the top kosher whites.

  • As a kosher chardonnay or kosher white, this stands out for its rich, rounded, buttery fruity. Not cheap at $50, but memorable.

  • Full body, bright golden color. Intense orchard fruits, anise and herbs aroma. Complex palate of peaches, pears, ripe apples and melon following by almond and long mineral finish. Overall good chardonnay, rich but moderately creamy and well balanced, gently acidity. Food friendly, well pairing to shrimps or stewed poultry. Serve 12ºC - 14ºC. Open half hour ahead. Drink now and next three years.
