  Decanted for an hour. Very deep purple-ruby red with high viscosity. Aromas of black fruits, violet, salami, violet, warm spices, and green peppers. On the palate, fresh, blackberries, black fruits, black currant, black pepper, leather, tobacco, earthy. Smooth, creamy, bone-dry, very high acidity, full-body, high and smooth tannins, very complex, long and juicy finish. A blend of 2/3 Kratosija and 1/3 Vranec. We paired it with an appetizer of roast beef with gravy on puff pastry. A very complex wine, and we'll buy it again.

  Splash decant. Nearly opaque ruby color. Fig, fennel, and black currant on the fruit forward , modestly brooding nose. Very smooth and very dry palate, with satiny acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish. 65% Kratosija and 35% Vranec
  
  Drinks a bit like a Napa Syrah, but not savory at all. You cannot do much better for the price. Tikves is the key wine region in North Macedonia and also the name of the largest winery.

  A blend of 65% Kratosija and 35% Vranec, aged for 12 months in French oak. Quite an ambitious wine. Ripe and rounded style but with balancing freshness, spicy oak and Mediterranean herbs, full-bodied (15% ABV) and flavoursome, ripe fruit (blackcurrant, cherry, plum), juicy tannins, good persistence and length. Not exactly subtle but wholesome and satisfying - in character it reminds me a bit of a Primitivo. At Café Restaurant Amsterdam, Amsterdam, NL.
