Color: Ruby red but not opaque Nose: Dark fruit followed by pencil lead Taste: Black cherry Finish: Medium length with smooth soft tannins Much smoother than I remember, happy to have another bottle on the rack.

PnP. Dark ruby red color. Proper nose. Needed some air time as initial taste was fairly tannic/oaky but mellowed some over time. Nothing special, an everyday pour. Nothing off, good value but run of the mill.

Gallo and L'ecole Tasting: Big baking spice aromas mix with dark red fruit. Fairly ripe, with the spices also showing on the palate, along with some decent tannins. Fairly simple, and a little too ripe to show much other then fruit, but ok. 83-84
