  • Waited way to long to drink. It was very good when it was young. Still medium dark red color, no browning. Very very light, not quite watery but approaching that. No off flavors just not much there.

  • Pale ruby with garnet core. Medium intensity black fruit combined with wet leaves, cedar and touch of oak. Nose fully developed. Palate was just wonderful - during 12 years of its life, wine's tannins had become very soft, while still in balance with medium acidity and body. Very long length dominated by medium black fruit, dried fruit, oak (smoke), wet leaves. A great bordeaux - absolutely ready to drink, after this point it will gradually start to decline, however, should be able to last at least another 5 years. It is very straight-forward, but no doubt an outstanding wine. Would have given it more than 90, if it was more complex. Was great with chicken a la Jamie Oliver. Cheers!

  • Round, soft, medium bodied (as expected with this vintage), red berries and even some depth. Not bad, but not great either. Overall an enjoyable every day wine.
