  Fantastic wine. Mineral driven, spicy with a touch of candle wax. In the end also some ripe, red cherries. Ans even so it is quite warm sometimes, it is not heavy but lithe and elegant. It's ageing very good and can still go on. I am surprised and in the best way. The structure is well build but not overwhelming and it is clean and precise.

  I didn’t like this wine three years ago, and I like it less now. It’s over the hill, and it wasn’t a very steep hill to begin with. Disjointed, drying and a weird combination of sour woodiness and sweet cherry. Add in a fall-off-the-cliff short finish, and you’ve got the makings of a drain dumper.

  There isn’t much positive I can say about this wine. A combination of sweet (mildly rich) red cordial flavours and hot alcohol on the finish. Nothing in the middle. Completely bereft of acid or tannin structure. Very, very simple.
