Sommelier Journal

  • By David Vogels, CWP
Premiere, (See more on Sommelier Journal...)

(Alois Lageder Pinot Bianco) Pale straw in color with a greenish tint. Nose of orange blossom, kiwi, lemon-lime, and wet stone. Smooth mouthfeel, but light body. Tart acidity lingers on the moderate finish; only a slightly acidulated note is out of tune. Solid value for an aperitivo, or to accompany salads or light seafood. Winery Spotlight: Alois Lageder
