  Quite a surprise, this....
  On nose: notes of fine espresso coffee, ripe blackberries , cassis and a ghost of eucalyptus.
  On palate: all above flavour notes singing, with pipe tobacco, Damson plum flesh, a ghost of cinnamon and tomato plant......superbly balanced on a full body, clean vibrant tannins, and a clear prescence of vanilla/ oak.
  Unabashedly New World, with 60% Cab Sauv, 25% Malbec, and 15% Cab Franc....all elegantly finished in new French oak.....decant for 2 hours for best results , does not pretend to be Bordeaux, but shows some class in the New World spectrum....similar to the same vintage as Norton Privada, but with more complexity...played well with Pork tenderloin and winter vegetables this evening.

  Blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, and 15% Cabernet Franc raised in French oak. 14% abv
  
  Medium garnet color with cassis, black cherry, black pepper, violet, vanilla, cedar and dark chocolate aromas with hints of fresh green pepper and mint. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with well-integrated supple tannins and good acidity with cassis, ripe black cherry, vanilla and dark chocolate flavors. Medium-finish
