During the Paulée de Marsannay, no detailed notes. From MAG. Just like a Cote Rotie shoud be. Black pepper, smoke, bacon, dark fruit some torrefaction. Good acidity and long finish.

Nez floral charmant, avec des fruits des champs. Un vin mûr, éclatant, gourmand et concentré. On sent le millésime solaire, mais le vin garde vraiment une bonne fraîcheur. La texture est belle et les tanins soyeux, c’est assurément un des meilleurs millésimes de cette cuvée que j’ai pris. Excellent en cet état primaire, mais sans doute meilleur dans 3-5 ans. 93 pts

2nd time drinking this, needs about 10 years to truly shine. Still really enjoyed it tho. Dark purple color, violet and dry aged meat on the nose. Dark fruits, white pepper, meaty funk again and a long finish. The oak needs more time to fully integrate but this will be a very good wine in the future possibly hitting 95-96 in 2030-2035

Huge nose of smoked wood, blueberries, BBQ angus beef, charbon, very very nice!! Taste is sappy silky powdery tannin, black olives, black iron, bbq meat, very very nice!!
