  Bought recently, but the colour is dull, and it may have some notes of oxidation; overall, it's not dynamic, not much interest here.

  Tout à fait correct comme petit Chardonnay Argentin. Manque un peu de finesse et d'acidité pour être une bouteille dans ma rotation normale mais somme toute bon rapport qualité-prix et bon petit chêne, un peu trop court, mi-corsé.

  A super value, just £6.99 when bought as part of 6 bottles at Majestic (UK). Alamos is actually owned by Catena and with the quality on display in this simple Chardonnay that comes as no surprise. Absolute textbook notes of orchard fruit, peach and some creamy oak. Good acidity, mid-palate texture and a classy, brisk finish. Knockout for the money and I will happily purchase more. Argentina becoming my go-to for value Chardonnay.
