Tasted over 3 hrs and day 2, bottle from secondary market -med dark red mild bricking -lovely fragrant meaty earthy spice -med acidity, med weight with the trademark sweet sappy core earthy dark cherry saline some spice, long finish with some slightly coarse med tannins; a little less complexity but a bit more depth and even more seamless balance on day 2 -this bottling is always the elegant one in Maume's lineup and in this vintage it has some added depth and exquisite balance, still on its prime drinking plateau that I expect will last many more years, this is easily of premier cru quality this vintage, love this

Color: Ruby Smell: Earth, and red fruits on the nose Taste: Red fruits, and rustic notes. Overall: A wine that needs another 3-5 years in the cellar. It's good now...but it has been at its best in the past.

Decanted for about an hour in a magnum decanter. Color: Ruby with slight bricking in color Smell: Forest floor, truffle, vibrant red fruits Taste: A delicate melange of red fruit, clove, and spice Overall: Words really do not do this wine justice. While it's wildly enjoyable now, I feel like it's still about 3-4 years away from getting into the secondary notes that I love in Pinot Noir. This elegant wine is so wonderfully poised with light body, med+ fruit, med+ acid, and a moderately long finish that I could drink this every day for months before I'd think about other wines. Outstanding!!

Impressive and enjoyable...on a level that makes me realize I will want more of this in the future! A slightly earthy and rustic nose with vibrant red fruits on the palate and an elegant finish that seems longer than I remembered....

Smell: Earth, red fruits, spice cake, and floral tones.
Taste: Tart red fruits, rhubarb, and an elegant lingering minerality
Overall: An outstanding elegant effort that offers rustic scents and a lithe and energetic energy on the palate...this will be great to check back in on in two years.
