Deceptive on nose. Lilac, rose petal gives way to chocolate ganache on first taste. Then it builds with kirsch and a little hint of licorice. Peaks and then drives a long finish. Enjoy.

Enjoyable Zinfandel that presents soft black and blue fruit with an unmistakable finish. Easy to drink and paired nicely with NY strips off the grill. Nice with food or to enjoy by itself. Not complex but delivers very well at the price point.

Super accessible Zinfandel from Papapietro Perry. Soft tannins with enticing blueberry, violet and floral notes. This was crushable with the Peruvian chicken and elotes we paired with it for dinner. Super enjoyable and easy to drink. Straightforward and not overly complex but rates high on the enjoyment scale. A worthy Dry Creek Valley Zin from an excellent Pinot producer. It drinks just fine!!

A nice balance of fruit, oak and alcohol (14.9%). I picked up concentrated flavors of boysenberry, violet and spice. Enjoyed by all.
